Popular Culture F1FF: Assignment 3-1

Watching movies is one of my hobbies. I love science fiction movies. For example, “Tron”, “Avatar”, “The green hornet”, etc are examples of movies that I've recently watched. Like any movie theater fan, I need to be in the optimum position in order to watch the movie with all its potential. That 's when I've heard about a new popular way to watch movie. It allows you to see more, hear more, feel more, while watching a movie with the wold's largest screens, including 12,000 watts of digital surround sounds with, in addition, the possibility to see images with the clarity of the crystal (crystal clear images). Today, I'll talk about IMAX, the new optimum way to watch movies.
IMAX, is the ultimate movie experience. It stands for Image Maximum. It's a process of film projection using a giant screen on which an image approximately ten times larger than standard is projected. Contrary to what we could think, IMAX is not a recent concept. It ha been developed since 1929 with a simple desire, the desire to increase the visual impact of film. Through time, this concept evolves until now, where it becomes the most widely used system for large-format, special-venue film presentations
IMAX theaters provide an enhanced movie going experience perfect for field trips or a fun night out of the house. IMAX movies can be enjoyed at any number of IMAX theater locations across the globe. To date, nearly 1 billion people have enjoyed the IMAX Impact at IMAX theaters around the world. That is very impressive.
For me, and all my friends, IMAX is the ultimate way to experience movies. All the big box office movies are release in IMAX or 3D IMAX. I'm also confident in this technology, because I think that it revolutionizes cinema.
