Popular Culture F1FF: Assignment 4-1

All the movie lovers probably have heard of Netflix. It is everywhere: on TV, on internet, on the radio, on many game devices, and even on phones and IPods. Netflix is an American corporation that offers both on-demand video streaming over the internet, and rental-by-mail of DVD-Video and Blu-ray Disc in the United States and Canada. Last December, I try it for free during one month on my PlayStation 3 device, and I may assure you: Netflix is the Bomb.

Netflix offers to the subscribers an instantly Internet video streaming of a large selection of movies, documentary and Television shows. The Internet video streaming comes at no additional charge with Netflix's regular subscription service, since you already pay for it. In addition, Netflix is very cheap. Its price turns around $7.99 / month. What it is good about it is that, you will always have something to watch, always, no matter what. Netflix’s library has over 100,000 titles compared to 30-50 in vending machines. You don’t have to go to “Blockbuster” or to the “Red box” to rent movies, and then come home to watch them. It saves you gas, time and effort. You have just to sit in front of your television, put your device on, choose the movie directly from a various list, and watch it comfortably at home. I say that because I've had some bad experiences in the past with Dvds and shipping times.
Netflix is a very prodigious invention and it is very popular right now. I believe that it started the quick death of the physical DVD rental industry. This concept is innovative and simple to use. As Netflix continues to grow in both audience and content, People are enjoying more and more watching television-on-demand and Hollywood executive are feeling more and more threatened. So guys go ahead and profit of the current offer on Netflix. Try it for one month at no costs, enjoy thousands of movies and if you have been convinced like me, go ahead and become a subscriber.
